This was my first time to Carl Dukes Volvo and I chose them for service based on speaking with Carl on the phone and all the excellent online reviews. They were thorough and took the time to look over some general maintenance items that I hadn't thought about it. I had a sensor replaced, oil changed, air filter and a small window washer component and was pleased that they made the effort to get everything done same day. I had taken my car to the local Volvo dealership because of check engine light and they said, it could be this or it could be that or it could be that and sent me on my way with the check engine light on. That is when I contacted Carl Duke and happy to have the sensor replaced. Great service at a good price and felt like doing the work correctly and thoroughly is important to all of the staff. Needed some work done that had been quoted almost $2000 at the dealer. They got everything done for far less than that and we're able to get it done in a single day. Their customer service was good and I had a great experience overall.
Responsible and honest service -- they always give me options for used or new parts and their recommendation, stay in touch about any difficulties getting parts, clearly communicate if they cannot work any acute repair in, and repairs always have solved the mechanical problem. They have handled front end, brake, transmission, major tune ups, radiator, heater and a/c issues on my car for nearly 6 years and it's still alive and kicking at 245K miles.
Horrible customer service!!! Came from two states away to get my car fixed there, they told me in the morning it would be ready that afternoon EOB. Get there and then they tell me it could be another day, or longer. No sorry, nothing. Just if I did not want to wait, to take my car away. Forgot the 5-6 hour drive. Just too bad for you. Rude!! Deceitful! !! Poor service and business skills.
