I would never take my Volvo to anyone else. My 240 was just totaled by a Porsche SUV running a stop sign, in Providence. Being a Volvo, it runs- I am driving it back to Packard because they will fix it, period, without ripping me off. I have also bought 240's from Packard, and they stand by their cars one hundred percent. I wish the rest of the world operated like they do. Honest, knowledgeable, good people.

I have bought three Volvo's from Packard of Vermont, two of them without even test driving them. That tells you that I trust these guys, and recomend them without hesitation!

I brought my 2003 Acura TL in for a check up last month. Not being a car person and having had almost all negative experiences with the dealer, it was brought to my attention that I should have had my timing belt replaced long before the 137,000 mile mark. Packard was swamped, but fit me in and got me back into shape to the tune of literally hundred's of dollars LESS than any other local garage and especially the dealer. The service was amazing and FAST. All with smiles and within my tight budget, they worked with me.
Apparently, Acura timing belts are quite a challenge as well, but they handled my job with expertise and precision.
I am a very HAPPY customer for LIFE and am currently shopping for a safe, reliable Volvo from Packard for my daughter. :-)

My 2005 Volvo S60R was in need of front lower control arm bushings. A local foreign auto repair shop informed me that they were unable to replace these bushings, and instead they would have to replace the entire control arm assembly, to the tune of $800.
Thankfully, I decided to call Packard of Vermont. They were able to replace the bushings for $200. This is the advantage of dealing with a shop that specializes in Volvo repair. They have the necessary tools to get the job done.
The staff was honest and easy to deal with, and the car handles 100% better. I would highly recommend Packard of Vermont to any Volvo owner.
