I live in Cumming/Johns Creek and will drive the 30 mins to Gainesville for the truly exceptional service I get from these guys! Took my 2004 Volvo S80 to the dealership because I was tired of "Yes we work on Volvos" and my car still not running right. The dealership was my last resort....or so I thought. They quoted me $7K to make the necessary repairs. I was on the verge of just getting rid of my car because I couldn't afford to put 7K into a 2004?!?! Then I just happened to drive past Steve's shop on my way back from the lake and decided to Google them. FIVE STARs everywhere I looked (Yelp, Google, FB, etc) I decided to try ONE more time. Took my car there, Steve was very nice, called me every step of the way with progress updates, worked with my budget, addressed the necessary repairs and the ones that could wait a little longer, quick turn around, honest, overall just an exceptional experience. When I went to pick my car up, Brandy greeted me at the door with a big smile. Steve came right out and pulled me back in the shop, he had a box of "my" parts that had been replaced. He showed me each one and why it needed replaced. Come to find out the previous mechanic charged me for something that he didn't even change out, it was still original. (That pissed me off) Honestly, how many mechanics do that? That speaks volumes to me that he is willing to take the time with each customer and actually show you what, and why he did the repairs needed. I love that they are a family run business and they've now gained a very loyal customer! If I could give them 10 stars I'd do it in a heartbeat! He truly is the Volvo specialist! Def worth the drive. Honest, reliable, affordable Euro mechanics are hard to find! If that's what you're looking for these guys rock!
