Gold Coast Auto Works is a full service Volvo repair shop located in Pompano Beach Florida.

Our history begins as a general auto repair shop, and continues to serve most makes and models, but we excel in Volvo repair. Many of our South Florida clients bring their luxury European cars to us. We have developed a local following as an outstanding European auto service center in North Broward and South Palm Bay because of our extensive history working on many import cars.

    Gold Coast Auto Works co-founder Marli Pinto had an interest in electronics and cars from a young age and studied Electronic Engineering in Brazil. Shortly after graduating Marli began working in the telecommunications industry in Brazil. While Marli enjoyed and excelled in the telecom industry in Brazil she was an entrepreneur with several business ideas. She moved to South Florida in 1989 and operated several successful businesses but her passion was in cars so after selling one of her businesses she opened Gold Coast Auto Works in 2014. Over the past three years Gold Coast has become one of the areas fastest growing successful auto shops in Pompano Beach, FL.

    Lundy Poponne co-founder has had an interest in cars since his childhood watching his stepfather working on cars. Lundy always found time to help out at the family auto shop in Virgin Island so he was already an experienced auto tech well before attending Devry before graduating from Devry in 1984 with a degree in Electronics and Auto Tech. Lundy immediately entered the automotive industry and established an excellent reputation for accurate diagnosis and solutions to repair a variety of cars. Over the past twenty five years Lundy has worked for companies such as Goodyear and Volvo before deciding to open Gold Coast Auto Works with his close friend Marli Pinto in 2014.

    I have been a die hard Volvo driver since the 1980's. I was introduced to Gold Coast Auto Works about 10 years ago. The personnel is always friendly and accommodating. I have had several Volvo cars since meeting them and they have been honest about any repairs I have needed. I would recommend them to anyone for that one on one Volvo service.

    I own a 2006 Volvo S60 2.5T. I originally leased the car, and then purchased it from Volvo at the end of the lease period. My car has been pampered and I always try to get the very top service for my car. Normally I would bring my car to a Volvo dealer for service, but when I found Gold Coast Auto Works, I gave them a try after reading several favorable customer reviews, seeing the facility, and talking with Lundi (a co- owner who is truly a master mechanic and who worked at a Volvo dealership prior to starting his own business) and Marli (a co-owner and wonderful office manager). My Volvo has been exclusively serviced there for over 3 years, and my car now has over 140,000 miles and driving well!! Not only am I getting the highest quality service from this Volvo repair shop, the cost of service and repairs is considerably less that that charged by Volvo dealers. They treat me like family at Gold Coast and it's always a pleasant experience having my car serviced there. I highly recommend this service/repair facility and plan to continue having my car serviced there for many years.
