Let's start at the beginning, when you walk in you get greeted by a happy, loving golden retriever that'll love to greet you as you walk in and her name is Bailey Brown and a cream golden retriever who is two and a half months old who is super soft. I've heard that some parents brought their children just to see Bailey and now Willow(because they got Willow about seven week ago) while their parents cars get worked on. Then after that you get greeted by the kind and friendly receptionist and you tell them about your reservation and then you can have a seat in the waiting or you can go walk around, and speaking of walking around there is Arby's up the street and so is Holiday, so if your hungry you can get some food at both places. This is a great shop because on their business card it states "We treat our Volvos like our own." and by my experience they have.

I have owned five Volvos and purchased four of them from Swedish Motors. They have consistently serviced my vehicles with a high degree of expertise and integrity while providing exceptional customer service.

The cleanliness of their waiting area (with free wifi) and bathrooms doesn't make waiting on your vehicle a chore. In addition, I appreciate the convenience of being able to schedule my appointments online and request a loaner car if needed.

The owner, Justin Christenson, has been unfailingly responsive, polite, and customer-focused. I trust his professional judgement and would recommend his business without reservation.

My go to shop for my Volvo has deeply disappointed me. I needed 2x new springs and shock absorbers and they wanted $1580 for my 2005 Volvo. I approached them trying to find the same brand shocks Volvo buys without OEM sticker and they strictly refused to do the job. I ended up going to my mechanic of 20 years putting in Volvo OEM springs and the very same brand/type Volvo uses for shock absorber and ended up with $810 cost. 2-stars for not going the extra mile for the customer.

Asked for oil change, windscreen wiper hose plug and investigation of intermittent airconditioner stopping issue.

Oil change done and appreciated. $60

Wiper fluid hose plug - wanted $13 for a $3 plug- not done, no explanation on pickup.

Airconditioner inspection conducted at a cost of $109 (price not mentioned up front - but not charged following discussion) with the recommendation to get a new compressor at the cost of $2k or alternately $300 to regas when was re-gassed 12months ago per sticker in engine bay.

Minimal online research (swedespeed) and a 5 minute inspection showed ac clutch gap to be the issue (common in modern volvos) . fix under $200 for new clutch and install or $20 by shim gap fix.

Disappointed that with multiple services and expensive maintenance conducted in the past doesn't warrant loyalty enough to give the most economical option but seeks to take advantage of less knowledgeable clientele.

The expectation that a 1 hour inspection with no concrete diagnosis and the only options being the 2 most expensive fixes (neither the cause) when claiming to be the experts in volvos and better alternative to the dealer is difficult to accept in this scenario.

In future please provide clientele with all available options of repair and be upfront with costs prior to commencement. I understand a business needs to make money but not at the expense of loyalty and trust.
